Business Analyst at ServiceNow
ServiceNow Business Analyst assists or works independently in designing, developing, and implementing IT, GRC, Cyber, and Risk processes, conducting research and performing analysis required to build respective modules within ServiceNow Platform, capturing business requirements in the form of agile stories, and testing configured functionalities end to end as soon as they are developed.
• 0 to 2 years of experience designing, transitioning, or operating IRM, GRC, or Cyber SecOps procedures.
• Knowledge with business analysis and configuration or management of ServiceNow Platform IRM and SecOps modules.
• Acquaintance with the Scrum Methodology
• Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods, such as client requirement analysis and system design
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, as well as the ability to prioritise; self-starter with the capacity to work independently with the least amount of oversight
• Previous BA experience with various GRC technologies and platforms such as Archer, MetricStream, Open Pages, and so on.
• Interpersonal abilities to help project stakeholders such as clients and internal team members discuss priorities and manage conflicts.
• Strong analytical abilities are required to critically assess information acquired from various sources, resolve issues, and so on.
• Break down high-level knowledge into specifics.
• Facilitation skills to help gather needs in workshops and train clients and internal team members
• Use of industry-recognized technology to improve the working environment
• Demonstrate experience communicating at the highest levels of an organisation across all levels.
Responsibilities
Servicenow IRM and SecOps Transformation Projects whose responsibilities may include any or all of the following:
1. Collaborating with business users to collect all needs in order to develop business specifications and translate them into business functionality.
2. Documenting procedures and business analysis outcomes, as well as receiving user approval on requirements.
3. Assisting the technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and creating a statement of business functionality requirements.
4. Communicating business instructions, goals, and needs to the technical team and acting as the enterprise's operational management team's business interface in managing expectations and defining business satisfaction indicators.
5. Creating and implementing test strategies to guarantee that business requirements and functional specifications are appropriately executed and that ROI objectives are met.
6. Understanding long-term corporate objectives and recommending ways to attain those objectives; providing innovation to business processes through technology when needed.
7. Assisting the enterprise's business operations staff in the creation of content or other resources; proposing improvements and finding new business requirements.
8. Uses knowledge of system capacity to estimate project viability.
9. Keeps up to date on new hardware and software and advises upgrades to ensure effective functioning.
10. As needed, collaborates with IT application analysts and programmers.
11. Analyses department production and, if necessary, redesigns workflow
12. Creates, updates, and maintains operating procedures and standard operating procedures manuals.
13. Serves as an enterprise consultant in work measurement, system research, or cost/effectiveness analyses.
14. As needed, assists organisations outside of the firm in improving internal procedures that may be beneficial to the enterprise.
15. Leads training sessions for the implementation of new or upgraded systems and procedures.
16. Holds meetings at various levels of management with the aim of presenting, reviewing, and approving recommendations, among other things.
17. Meets or exceeds the enterprise's performance benchmark, particularly in procedure creation and analysis.
18. Takes on additional responsibilities when they are assigned.
19. Recognises and identifies prospective areas where existing business services policies and procedures need to be changed or new ones developed, and makes recommendations.
Desirable Qualification
Any BE/BTech, ME/MTech graduates are preferred.
