The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released the official notification for recruiting 394 Junior Intelligence Officer (Grade-II Technical) positions. The online application window opens on 23rd August 2025 and closes on 14th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold one of the following:
- A three-year Diploma in Engineering in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Instrumentation & Control
- OR a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT
- OR Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- Age Limit (as on 14th September 2025): 18 to 27 years (relaxations as per government norms apply)
Selection Process
Selection will be conducted in three phases:
- Tier-I: Computer-Based Online Test (CBT)
- Tier-II: Skill/Test (Hands-on/Technical Test)
- Tier-III: Interview / Personality Test
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed at Pay Level-4 with a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100, along with Central Government allowances and benefits.

- UR / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹650 (₹550 Recruitment Processing + ₹100 Exam Fee)
- All Other Candidates (SC / ST / Female / PwBD): ₹550 (Only Recruitment Processing Charges)
