Job Responsibilities

Supports efforts relating to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product production rollout. Testing specialists that collaborate with technology project managers, user acceptance testers, and users to build and implement acceptable scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.

Testing for software quality assurance.

Performs several quality control and user acceptance tests.

Analyse applications to ensure that they meet or surpass defined standards and end-user needs.

Creates test scripts, executes them in accordance with the application requirements documentation, and logs defects.

Retests software corrections to check that issues have been rectified.

Documents the evolution of scripts for testing cases for future replication.

Assists in the creation of test plans.

If clarification on requirements is required, interfaces with development teams.

Exhibits a thorough understanding of methods and concepts within one's own technical domain, as well as a fundamental understanding of same aspects in other disciplines.

It is necessary to have a good awareness of how the team interacts with others in order to achieve the area's objectives.

Makes evaluative judgements based on factual information analysis; solves problems by recognising and selecting solutions using gained technical experience and precedents.

Through the quality of the tasks and services supplied, has a limited but direct impact on the team and closely associated teams.

Exchanges ideas and information in a clear and logical manner; acknowledges audience diversity.

Desirable Qualification :

0-2 years relevant testing experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of relationship data bases. Knowledge of applications supporting the testing process.

Demonstrated analytical skills& ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Experience in software application testing.
